Samuel Rees-Thomas is Director and Insurance Adviser at Rees-Thomas Financial.
Following six years in banking, first with Westpac then Kiwibank, Sam then moved into insurance advice and launched Rees-Thomas Financial in 2014. Sam is based in Wellington with wife Julianne and two children.
Sam is a Licensed Financial Adviser, regulated by the Financial Markets Authority.

Victoria Sola
Victoria joined us in early 2022 as our Practice Manager and comes with 11 years’ experience in Financial Services.
She holds general oversight of all general matters such as Claims, Processing Applications and Administrative Matters.

Jonny Gilling
Jonny joined us in early 2022. His role is Executive Assistant - Adviser Support and provides direct support to Samuel in general client queries and medical underwriting matters.

Julianne Rees-Thomas
Julianne is administrator and claims adviser at Rees-Thomas Financial. Drawing upon her 7 years experience as a Registered Nurse in Oncology and Hematology, Julianne’s medical expertise provides the team with a unique perspective on Life, Health, Trauma, Income Protection and Permanent Disability Insurance claims.
